What is IdeaDrop?
IdeaDrop is a service where you speak or type an idea and AI organizes and saves it for you.
Whether you’re driving, walking, or waking up at 3am — when your hands aren’t free, just say it in Telegram. A title and summary are generated automatically. One keyword is all it takes to find it again later. -
Can I really just say something and it gets saved? Does it understand?
Yes. No need to polish your sentences or follow any format.
Whether you’re driving, out for a walk, or half-asleep — just say it the moment the thought hits, and AI organizes it into a title and body.

I already message myself notes in a messaging app. What’s different?

When your hands are full or you can’t open an app — just say it out loud.
They’re not substitutes. Many people use IdeaDrop to catch ideas first, then transfer them to their notes app when they’re ready. -
Can I send photos too?
Yes. Just like text and voice, photos can be saved as ideas.
Send multiple photos at once and they’re bundled into a single idea.
On the idea view screen, tap View Photos to see them in the order you sent them.
Examples:
• Snap a product at a store + add a note, saved together
• Send several screenshots at once in one shot
• Search by keyword later — the photo idea shows up instantly -
What’s the difference between keyword search and AI related search?
Keyword search finds by exact word match.
Search “mom” and you’ll only see items that contain the word “mom”.
AI related search understands meaning and context.
Search “mom” and you’ll also get results about gifts for parents, family trips, parent-related notes — things that are connected in meaning, even if the word doesn’t appear.
Use keyword search when the word comes to mind. Use AI related search when you only have a feeling.
Try both — the difference is immediately obvious.

Why Telegram and not another messaging app?
Telegram has the most open and capable Bot API available, with very fast response times.
Other messaging apps impose strict API limitations that make it difficult to build a personal assistant bot that handles voice, photos, and text in one place.
We chose Telegram so you can have the smoothest, fastest idea-capture experience — no extra app needed. -
Can Telegram see or store my ideas?
Telegram acts as a fast, convenient delivery pipe between you and IdeaDrop.
Your message passes through Telegram in transit, but everything is ultimately stored and managed—encrypted—on IdeaDrop’s dedicated servers only.
Nothing stays on Telegram’s servers. All reading and storage happens exclusively on IdeaDrop servers. -
Any tips for installing Telegram for the first time?
Always install from the official app stores.
Unofficial lookalike apps with similar names may appear in search results. To confirm you have the official app:

Do you sell or share my ideas with third parties?
Absolutely not.
Only you can access your ideas and personal schedule.
IdeaDrop does not use your data for targeted advertising, third-party sales, or any external sharing.

Is my voice recording kept after I send it?
No. Voice messages are processed temporarily for transcription only.
The moment text conversion is complete, the original audio file is permanently and completely deleted from our servers.
You can use voice freely without worrying about recordings being stored or leaked. -
Where is my data stored?
Your ideas are encrypted and stored on IdeaDrop servers (VPS).
Google Gemini API temporarily receives your note for AI summarization, but it is not stored on Google’s side after processing.
Your data is never used to train external AI models. (Per Google Gemini API Terms of Service)

When connecting Google Calendar, I see a “Google hasn’t verified this app” warning. Is that okay?
Yes, this is normal. Here’s an honest explanation.
Google only gives the “verified” badge to apps that have completed their official OAuth verification process. This process takes several months and costs money.
IdeaDrop is currently preparing for verification. Click ‘Continue’ on the warning screen and the connection will complete normally.
IdeaDrop only requests calendar read/write permissions — we do not access Gmail, Drive, or any other Google data. Read the Privacy Policy → -
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
All saved ideas are deleted immediately upon account deletion or data removal request.
Payment and subscription history is retained for 5 years per applicable e-commerce regulations, then permanently deleted.

Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan requires no credit card and is available permanently.
Free plan includes: idea saves (30 / mo), keyword search, AI related search, Google Calendar connection, event lookup, and event creation.
When you need more, you can upgrade to the Pro plan at any time. -
How does billing work? Is payment secure?
Payments are processed securely via our payment infrastructure.
We accept major credit and debit cards.
Your raw card number is never stored on IdeaDrop servers — only a billing token issued by the payment processor is retained. -
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation takes effect immediately. Once your billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.
Your saved ideas are not deleted and remain accessible. -
Do I need to pay during the beta period?
No. During beta, all features are free to use.
Paid plans will be introduced at the official launch.
